The Web Developer II is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining responsive, user-friendly websites and web applications. This role collaborates with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into functional digital solutions. The Web Developer ensures performance, accessibility, security, and scalability while following best practices and coding standards. They also troubleshoot issues, implement updates, and stay current with emerging web technologies to continuously improve the user experience.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • The ability to obtain, maintain and access classified information at the Secret level. 

  • 5+ years of demonstrated website development field experience of a similar size/scope

  • Demonstrated familiarity with Javascript, ASPX, DotNetNuke Content Management Systems, DocuSign

  • 3+ years of experience working with Adobe PDFs for websites, using OCR and indexing for online Search

  • Required Certification: Security +

  • Experience in data transfers from SIPR to NIPR and perform content editing functions on a day-today basis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Designs, develops, and maintains website and web applications using modern web technologies.

  • Translate business and user requirements into functional, scalable solutions.

  • Collaborates with designers, product managers, and stakeholders to implement user-friendly interfaces.

  • Writes, clean, maintainable, and well documented code following best practices.

  • Ensures websites are responsive, accessible, and compatible across browsers and devices.

  • Optimize web applications for performance, security, and scalability.

  • Tests, debugs, and troubleshoots issues; implements fixes and enhancements.

  • Integrates thirst-party APIs, services, and data sources as needed.

  • Maintains version control using tools such as Git.

  • Stays current with emerging web technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Web Development or a similar field of study and a minimum of five (5) years' relevant experience in application / database development; or equivalent combination of education / experience.

The estimated pay range for this role is $60K to $70K, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
