The Information Technology Internship is designed to provide well rounded exposure to IT functions while fulfilling work assignments in a support capacity. This Intern position will have a specific emphasis placed on PowerBI , SQL and analytics development skills.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to pass a background check.
Basic knowledge and understanding of various facets of Information Technology (i.e., business systems, data network, database / warehousing, servers, PowerApps/PowerBI.).
Basic knowledge and understanding of business analysis and project planning / management methods.
Excellent computer skills with proficiency using Microsoft Windows, Office programs (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) and CoPilot.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills with knowledge and ability to utilize appropriate grammatical skills.
Ability to create professional reports, flowcharts and documentation utilizing various formats. Lucid Charts experience a plus.
Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of management and coworkers, as well as a wide range of people having diverse backgrounds.
Ability to employ a customer service approach and to present technical information with clarity to non-technical users.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Ability to be dependable and to meet schedules / timelines.
Ability to prioritize projects and services for minimum user interruption and downtime.
Well organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated.
Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Under supervisory guidance, performs a variety of assigned tasks, such as:
Assists with PowerBI development including paginated reports and PowerBI apps.
Assists with coding SQL development tasks.
Assists with planning and executing IT and business projects.
With oversight, performs business analysis, project management and administrative assignments.
May be asked to assist with change management, including the creation of training materials.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in a relevant college degree program at the time the internship will be served - either at the graduate or upper undergraduate level. Enrollment in a Computer Science or Management Information Systems degree program is preferred. Background check may be conducted. Must have an acceptable GPA.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit. Regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools, computer, and/or controls. Required to speak and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Exposed to general office noise with computers printers and light traffic.

The estimated pay range for this role is $15 to $17, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
